Experienced Surgeons

Our surgeons are experienced in a broad range of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries. Our patients are monitored closely while under anaesthesia by our trained nurses. Heart rate, respiratory rate and blood oxygenation are monitored.

Intravenous fluid therapy: We recommend intravenous fluid support while your pet is under anaesthesia to decrease anaesthetic risk by correcting any dehydration and maintaining blood pressure.

Pre-anaesthetic testing

We recommend routine pre-anaesthetic blood testing for all animals undergoing anaesthesia. Your pet cannot describe its symptoms to let us know what might be wrong so we recommend a blood test to give us the answers we need before surgery. By testing blood chemistry we can evaluate the status of your pet’s major organs. The function of the liver and kidneys is especially important because these organs process and rid the body of medications used during anaesthesia. Depending on the results, we may adjust the dose or type of anaesthetic used or even advise delaying surgery.

We have a dedicated team of experienced veterinarians and support staff who genuinely care for your pet’s health and wellbeing. Our hospital and team are fully equipped to investigate, diagnose and treat your pet’s illness. Our onsite facilities include: Digital Radiology, Ultrasonography, Onsite Laboratory, Chemotherapy, Small animal operating theatre, Equine operating theatre, Separate cat and dog wards, an Isolation ward and a large animal ward.
